Welcome to Livingwalk.com, a new gathering place for "life-minded" followers of Jesus Christ who want nothing added to their faith in Him; for those who hunger for a pure and simple faith, untethered from all of the human-derived layers and add-ons that have watered down the essential gospel for far too long. Our deepest desire is… “To comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height – to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that (we) may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Eph 3) My name is Wayne, and my sincere prayer is that this endeavor would indeed serve to advance the kingdom of God in some small way. I am by no means a professional cleric, or theologian, or Bible scholar (and I might add, web designer); I am merely one of the sheep like you, ever straining to hear/recognize the Shepherd’s voice, to know his will for my life, and to watch and learn as He fulfills the Father business. Livingwalk.com is an experiment really, a very personal exercise on my part to reach out, to become more transparent, and to share the wonderful life that is being developed in me from the inside out. I have made many missteps in my Christian walk, and I confess that I have arrived at this point somewhat beleaguered from the journey. All I truly want from here on in is to hold Father around the neck and hang on. Each and every day, I am starting to comprehend that this is fundamentally why Jesus came; because something precious had been lost; something wonderful had been broken. Only He can restore me to my Heavenly Father, and effectively restamp His image on my blackened heart. Only then can I hold onto Him for all eternity and never let go. - Not churchianity, but Christ - Not an improved self, but a new man in Christ - Not "christian" things, but Christ - Not so much His gifts, But Him - Not a gospel about Christ, but a gospel that is Christ - Not legalism nor liberalism, but freedom in Christ - Not busy-ness and religious activity, but channeling His Life in the Spirit! - No more gurus, but Christ and His Revealed Word - Not improved behavior, but a new heart and mind It seems like every ministry and Christian celebrity out there has a formula or method these days. It seems the flock has been reduced to little more than consumers for every gospel peddler and fame-seeker out there with something “new and improved.” Dear brother/sister, if any one this is touching a spiritual nerve in you, then I invite you to spend time here at Living-walk… sharing, edifying others, perhaps being touched by God’s Spirit as it flows in and through each of his children. It is my prayer that in some small way, the “rest of us” can find a place here to live, and be and learn, and discover ever more so the wonder that is this life in us. Please feel free to write us a letter, or to share in the discussion board, or share a revelation/insight, poem, or song that you have written. If you are one of the so-called “unchurched” or “house-churched” like me, then don’t despair, you have come to the right place. His Precious Remnant is seldom if ever found in Jerusalem, but in Bethany, or often the wilderness. Rest assured, you will not be labeled or maligned here, like you are some kind of visitor from another world. Here we uphold and exalt Him alone, sitting at His feet, to hear what he might say to us! Here, he is our All and Everything, the Light of God come into the world and our darkened hearts. Believe me, I know that this technology cannot replace really being with one another, but if the Lord finds this useful to Him, then my prayer will have been answered.
